From FastAPI to Laravel: Rebuilding QueuePro's Backend and My Skills

🚀 Behind the Build: Rebuilding the QueuePro Website — From FastAPI to Laravel As a mobile app developer, diving into backend and web technologies was a new frontier for me — but it turned out to be one of the most rewarding learning experiences in my journey so far. I'm excited to share how I helped develop and later migrate the QueuePro platform, gaining hands-on backend and full-stack experience in the process.

🛠️ Tech Stack: FastAPI → Laravel + React.js The initial version of QueuePro was built with: FastAPI for the backend API React.js (with Chakra UI) for the user site React.js-based Admin Panel

The original stack — introduced and presented to us by Md Moudud Hassan Vaia — gave us a fast, modular, and beautiful starting point. Later, we migrated: The Admin Panel from React.js to Laravel Blade, integrating it with the BA-Systems Admin Dashboard The entire backend API from FastAPI to Laravel, simplifying our ecosystem and improving maintainability

We’re now in the UAT (User Acceptance Testing) phase and preparing for the production rollout.

👨‍💼 Leadership & Mentorship A big thank you to our Vice President, Md Mostafizur Rahman Vaia, and Team Lead, Mir Hussain Kabir Vaia, for trusting me and constantly guiding the project in the right direction. Their support kept me motivated throughout the learning curve.

🤖 AI as My Co-Pilot With no strong backend background, I leaned on AI tools like ChatGPT and Claude to help me write code, debug issues, and understand backend patterns. It turned a difficult challenge into a manageable and even enjoyable experience.
