Bangladesh Road Transport Corporation (BRTC) and Dhaka Transport Coordination Authority (DTCA) have officially launched an app for bus naming 'Koto Dur'. IT service provider Business Automation Limited and Ideation Technology Solutions supported BRTC to develop the mobile app. Minister of Road Transport and Bridges Affairs Obaidul Quader, Secretary Md. Nazrul Islam, Executive Director of DTC Mr. Syed Ahmed, BTRC Chairman Farid Ahmed Bhuiyan inaugurated the app at the new BRTC Bus Depot in Gabtoli, Dhaka recently.

As per a notice from Business Automation Limited, aiming to making the public transport system in Dhaka disciplined, BRTC stepped into digital age. BRTC launched a mobile app 'Koto Dur' to relief the general people from the nuisance regarding public transport.

The app is going to be used in Nabinagar-Gabtoli route in Dhaka on trial basis. Previously, the app has been considered successful being launched on trial basis in Abdullahpur-Motijheel and Nabinagar-Motijheel route. The app is currently available in the Google Play Store.
